FOUNDER

As founder, Paul helps in the creation of an effective platform that automates the needs of our clients. He has spent the last 30 years intimately involved with creating systems and processes to simplify manual work to the benefit of all stakeholders. This is Paul’s passion.

Prior to founding Hopdox, Paul founded Simplifile, which is the market leader for electronic recording of land record documents in the country. During Paul’s 20 years at Simplifile, the company integrated nearly 2,500 counties and dominates the e-recording space while simultaneously enabling mortgage originators to directly connect to the title closing process with both documents and data.

Paul also served as the Director of Corporate and Strategic Planning for iLumin, where he was responsible for researching, modeling, and creating strategic business plans, including an automated mortgage transaction initiative for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

In addition, Paul has experience as a business strategy consultant and as a Senior Financial Analyst for The Clorox Company. Paul’s academic credentials include a BS degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA that focused on marketing and operations from the University of Connecticut.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Hopdox Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Auri Burnham, is an accomplished finance professional and strategic leader with decades of experience.

Auri's experience across the real estate, software, construction, payments, and related industries has enabled him to create and implement industry specific accounting and finance processes that have allowed his teams to be efficient and accurate. His leadership has fostered a culture of creativity and ingenuity, enabling team members to feel empowered to develop new and improved processes.

Auri holds a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior experiences includes serving as CFO at Rimrock Construction from 2004-2008 and then CFO at Simplifile from 2008-2022 where he helped them become the market leader for electronic recording of land recorded documents.

He’s held high level positions at some of the most respected financial institutions and fintech companies around, leaving an indelible mark on each organization.

As President of Hopdox, he is responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives, driving growth, and fostering a culture of innovation. His vision for the future is to leverage emerging technologies to transform the way businesses operate, allowing them to thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

His passion for innovation and his innate curiosity, combined with his ability to inspire and motivate teams, has enabled him to drive organizational alignment and deliver exceptional results.

Brian earned a B.S from Bowling Green State University and an M.B.A from Wayne State University.
