New Features & Improvements

Duplicate Document Detection

In addition to detecting duplicate packages, Hopdox now checks for duplicate documents within the same package. If we detect a duplicate document upload, you’ll see a warning message.

Payment Account Overrides

You now have more control over which payment accounts default on the package screen. In addition to your organization-wide defaults, you can set overrides for an entire state, a specific county, or an individual user.

On your Billing & Payments page, you'll see a new section called Payment Account Overrides where you can setup override(s).

After clicking on Add Override, a dialog opens where you can create the payment account default override based on location (State/County) or User. In the example below, a new payment account override rule is set up for the entire state of Texas.

Once you save the override, it appears in the Payment Account Overrides section and applies to newly created packages that match the rule. Packages that don’t match the rule will continue to use your organization’s default payment account.

Lastly, payment account override rules can be edited or deleted by right-clicking on it or clicking on the 3-dot menu as shown below.

County Not Live Messaging

We’re continuing to expand our county coverage. If a county isn’t live with Hopdox yet, a pop-up message on the package screen now lets you sign up to be notified when it goes live.

 

Fixes & Other Improvements

• Improved the display of long indexing names to be up to 3 rows.
• Fixed an issue with not all filters on the package list and reports being remembered.
• Fixed an issue with the Notice of Commencement form when selecting "Fee simple titleholder is not owner" so it shows up under the Leasehold option.
