Hopdox Is Now Available in SoftPro

2:53

Hopdox eRecording is now available in SoftPro. Title and settlement teams can send recording packages to Hopdox without leaving SoftPro, and let Hopdox handle the county and the indexing.

"We're excited about what this integration means for document submitters," said Brian Boike, President of Hopdox. "Connecting directly with SoftPro removes extra steps, like manually uploading documents, from the recording process. Settlement professionals get a faster, more reliable way to get documents recorded without leaving the software they already use every day."

## How it works

Getting a package from SoftPro to the county takes four steps:

1. **Choose Hopdox in SoftPro.** When documents are ready to record, choose Hopdox eRecording from the Settlement Services menu.
2. **Sign in once.** Enter your Hopdox authentication key and pick your organization. SoftPro remembers you, so you won't sign in every time.
3. **Send the package.** Attach your documents and submit them to Hopdox.
4. **Review and record.** Hopdox identifies the recording county and extracts the indexing data. Give it a quick review in Hopdox and send it to the county.

From there, status updates appear in your SoftPro queue, and recorded documents and data flow right back into SoftPro.

## Why it matters for settlement teams

Every recording used to mean leaving SoftPro, uploading documents somewhere else and typing the same details in again. The integration removes those steps:

- **One workflow.** eRecording starts from the SoftPro transaction you're already working in.
- **The right county, automatically.** Hopdox identifies the recording jurisdiction for you.
- **Indexing filled in.** Hopdox extracts the indexing details from the package, reducing the need to re-key.
- **Fewer rejections.** Accurate indexing helps reduce errors and recording delays.
- **Faster turnaround.** Less manual work shortens the time between closing and recording.

## Why Hopdox

Hopdox is a newer name in eRecording, built by a team with decades of experience. You may know us as the founders of Simplifile, and we've returned to the industry with a fresh perspective and even greater dedication to submitters.

- **Fewer clicks.** Do you use another eRecording vendor to eRecord in SoftPro? It takes less clicks to eRecord with Hopdox. Record faster with less work.
- **Smarter technology.** Hopdox was built from the ground up, with AI that identifies and fills indexing fields before you submit.
- **Simple pricing.** One per-document fee, and that's it. No annual fees, license fees, support costs or account minimums.
- **Support that knows recording.** Most of our local support team has hands-on document recording experience.
